For all the BBQ I've had, these are the best pork ribs in Texas, the sweet glaze just takes it to another level! I also really enjoy the sausage.
Wow! Went here based on the reviews and I must say they did not do this place justice. We had the pork ribs, beans, rice and coleslaw. The BBQ ribs were off the block delicious and needed no additional sauce or seasoning - the rub was wonderful and the meat tender. The cheese rice was good too and the portions were generous - we had some leftover to take home. Would definitely return and recommend.
It is a cafeteria style restaurant where you first select your sides and then your choice of meat. We went with beans, cheesy rice and coleslaw with pork ribs. The ribs were delicious, tender and needed no additional seasoning or sauce - the rub was onolicous (Hawaiian slang for delicious)!
We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy! But it didn’t take too long for us to order then get our meal and sit down.
I am an avid barbecue professional eater and when I tell you that this place just did the stump down on every competing barbecue place in Houston fall off the bone BEEF ribs, melt in your mouth brisket & The unique sweet but savory barbecue sauce is a combination for success these guys are dominant COME EARLY THEY WILL SELL OUT
Visit early Sunday wasn't a long line. Ordered turkey and jalapeño cheese sausage(my favorite)with bacon mac and potato salad. Turkey was mild flavored and moist and complimented house made bbq sauce well, which was a nice balance between sweet & vinegar flavor. Mac cheese was classic it had a nice flavor too. The potato salad had a heavy pickle taste but it was good. I definitely worth the stop while in the neighborhood.
Been here countless times, best most consistent brisket in Houston. Don’t miss the ribs, all three ways are great but if I had to choose I’d go with the red ribs. Jalapeño cheese sausage is awesome too. Great potato salad and jalapeño rice

This was my first time here with some coworkers. It was a nice experience. I got a boudin link, 4 ribs and some bacon mac n cheese. The mac n cheese is very rich. It's fresh and tasted great. The meats were fresh and the ribs were very tender.
Whenever I come into Houston I always try to go by here. Make sure you're there at 11:00 it backs up pretty fast. Barbecue is really good sides are excellent.
Was introduced to Pinkertons BBQ at a party at the YETI store in Houston this past weekend where Pinkertons BBQ Catered. Me and my wife had the Candy Ribs, sausage and Duck Meatballs! I was so impressed and it was so delicious that I practically begged my friend who I was staying with in Houston to take us for lunch the following day. We show up to Pinkertons Sunday for lunch, Had sliced Brisket sandwich, sausage and a Banana pudding, my wife who’s not a big fan of BBQ said it was the best BBQ she ever had. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Houston!
