Okay so the bakery has been around for a while maybe between 10 and 15 years it's been good since the beginning and keep in mind their pastry is Salvadorian and also Cuban, the food dishes they offer, they all are very tasty good!

Pastries are good and so is the food but their whole system of serving customers is THE WORST. Most places take your order, collect your money or give you a ticket or number and you wait as they fill it. Simple right? This place takes your order, and you walk around back and forth pointing to what you want and they serve one person at a time which takes about 5-7 min on average, sometimes longer.. Not a long time but when you have 7-8 people in front of you then that's about half an hour wait which is typical here and not the most efficient way to do it. It's a very slow service so do not go here unless you have a lot of time to waste because in all these years I've gone, I have NEVER seen them move fast at all. .

They only have white bread and it's not good for my liver so I can never order my favorite alajillo chicken.

I hope they bring wholemeal bread or some wholemeal bread kid.

I wish they carry brown bread/ whole grain bread so I could continue to order my chicken alajillo sanwich. My liver does not like white bread.

Let me tell you right now pics don't do my pollo al ajillo any justice. The chicken was juicy the veggies were crisp and the mojo was amazing with my platono chips. I wanted a mix of cuban and Central America dishes. Took home lots of pastries and you must have their cafe dulce latte or cafe con leche.

I wasn't a fan of the Cubano sandwich. The chicken sandwich my hubs got was amazing. I enjoyed the platanos y crema. The dulce de leche coffee was perfectly sweet. We also grabbed a box of pan dulce that I look forward to.
It was a Sunday morning. The wait was achingly long but I would do it again to eat here.

Been going there for years. Best lil spot there on temple and Rosemont. Cuban sandwiches are the best with coffee and milk

If his service was faster why did he take his time to grab your order.
